Request a prescription
You can send prescription and referral requests by email, fax, phone or WhatsApp message.
Always include your full name, date of birth and the exact medication or referral required. Use a clear subject line and please do not attach files to emails.
On WhatsApp you can send requests as text or photo. Make sure the message can be clearly matched to you, for example by name or a photo of your insurance card. If the prescription should be printed or sent to a specific pharmacy, please name that pharmacy too.
Important: Email and WhatsApp are not monitored continuously and are not suitable for urgent medical matters or emergencies.
Appointments and waiting times
You can generally attend during opening hours without an appointment. Staff are in the practice from 07:00.
For planned blood tests please arrive before 08:00, but no later than 08:30, because samples are collected afterwards.
Mondays tend to have longer waits. If you are short on time, please call ahead and book an appointment. Even with an appointment there may occasionally be waits, for example due to medical emergencies.
Holidays and closures
Current notes on holidays, closures and cover appear on the homepage and can be maintained as separate Markdown files.
Cover is generally provided by local practices. Outside opening hours you can reach the out-of-hours medical service on 116 117 and the emergency clinic at SANA Hospital Bergen.
